A joint mission of MEFMI, the World Bank and the Commonwealth Secretariat conducted a Debt Management Performance Assessment (DeMPA) in Tanzania. The DeMPA methodology evaluates government debt management functions against international good practice, identifying strengths and areas for reform across the legal framework, governance, operations and institutional arrangements.
The mission reflects MEFMI's continuing collaboration with cooperating partners to strengthen sovereign debt management capacity in member countries and support reforms that improve transparency, accountability and debt sustainability.
