MEFMI's commercial arm, offering needs-based, customised training, consultancy and advisory services to public, private and civil society institutions across Africa.
The Business Development Unit (BDU) is the commercial arm of MEFMI, through which the Institute offers capacity building beyond its traditional mandate to contribute to the development of responsive, competent and professional staff and institutions. The BDU serves public institutions and the private and civil society sectors across Africa, with the ultimate objective of supporting economic and financial sector stability and growth for national and regional development. Its services draw on MEFMI's enduring legacy and experience in delivering high-quality capacity building since 1994.

- Consultancy & Advisory Services — needs-based interventions delivered by internationally recognised experts
