The 2025 MEFMI Executive Fora convened the region's senior policymakers around the theme of leveraging emerging technologies for macroeconomic and financial management. The Deputy Governors and Deputy Principal/Permanent Secretaries Forum, held virtually on 29 May 2025 with support from Crown Agents Investment Management, explored the subtheme "Leveraging Artificial Intelligence for Enhanced Macroeconomic and Financial Management."
The forum served as a platform for Deputy Governors and Deputy Principal Secretaries to engage in high-level discussions, share insights and collaborate on the adoption of AI technologies in their institutions. The Governors Forum followed on 27 August 2025, continuing the dialogue at the apex level.
