Assessing Gains from Natural Resources in the MEFMI Region: Focusing on Foreign Direct Investment 1995–2013

This study assesses the economic gains member countries derive from their natural resources, focusing on the role of foreign direct investment (FDI) over the period 1995 to 2013. It analyses FDI trends in resource-rich economies of the MEFMI region and considers how member states can better capture value from natural-resource investment for sustainable development.
