The 2025 MEFMI Region Governors Forum was held virtually on 27 August 2025, from 09:00 to 13:00 CAT. Traditionally held between July and August each year, the forum is attended by the central bank Governors of the MEFMI region.
As the apex executive forum, the Governors Forum brings together the heads of the region's central banks to discuss the most pressing macroeconomic, monetary and financial stability challenges facing member states. Its deliberations and recommendations feed directly into the Institute's strategic priorities and the region's policy agenda.
